As the grinding rods in rod mills, wear-resistant grinding rods operate in a cascading manner with regular arrangement during service. Through the self-generated impact and rolling of the steel rods, the minerals in the gaps are ground to the required particle size. Meanwhile, the grinding rods are worn by the minerals, resulting in continuous wear and reduced dimensions. When their size decreases below a certain threshold, they are removed from the mill.
