The 25th China Mining Conference and Exhibition in 2023 attracted over 10,000 participants from 28 countries and regions, with more than 260 organizations and enterprises exhibiting across a 30,000-square-meter venue. The opening ceremony was attended by 15 officials, including ministers, vice-ministers, and envoys representing the mining industry from Ghana, Suriname, Nigeria, Uzbekistan, Cuba, and Saudi Arabia. With the theme “Innovation Promotes High Quality Development of Mining”, the conference included an opening ceremony, high-level forums, special promotion sessions and international mining exhibition. There was one theme forum, four high-level forums and 17 thematic forums, and more than 200 experts, scholars and business executives from home and abroad were invited to give speeches, including 65 foreign guests from 25 countries and regions. There were also 7 national and regional special promotions to publicize the resource potential, mining projects and mining policies of various countries. This year's event highlighted the theme of the conference, showcasing the concepts and practices of the global mining industry in safety, green, innovation and integrated development; focused on promoting exchanges and cooperation between Chinese enterprises and the international mining industry, with entrepreneurial dialogues; paid attention to the market situation, retaining the situation of supply and demand for minerals, the mining capital market and other panels; and served as a “platform to share Chinese Mining Story”, showcasing the achievements of the development of China’s mining industry and the development of China’s mining industry; combined offline and online, with year-round content sharing through the “China Mining Conference and Exhibition Cloud Platform”.
