2019(21st) China Mining Conference and Exhibition
The 21st China Mining Conference and Exhibition in 2019 saw participation from enterprises and pavilions across 54 countries and regions, with attendees including 9 foreign mining ministers or vice ministers, 3 ambassadors to China, and representatives from over 1,000 domestic and international mining enterprises, financial institutions, and industry associations. A total of 8,586 participants attended the event, comprising 4,833 registered delegates and 3,753 professional visitors. The exhibition featured 283 exhibitors (including 59 international exhibitors) across 428 booths, covering a 30,000-square-meter exhibition area. During the conference, a series of intelligent exploration, mining and processing technologies and equipment such as the world’s first large-scale integrated aerial remote sensing survey aircraft “Aerial Geology No. 1”, a 3,000-meter acoustic deep-towing system, 5G-enabled driverless mining trucks and so on. These innovations spanned the entire mining industry chain, from geological survey and exploration to mining, metallurgy, technology, and financial services. The conference addressed pressing topics such as global mining trends and Belt and Road mining cooperation through a theme Forum, 3 High-Level Forums, 26 thematic Forums, Investment promotion sessions for Argentina, South Africa, Australia, Canada, and others, Special promotional events for Gansu Province and Tianjin Municipality, 1 Training Session, 3 Popular Science Lectures. Notable collaborations announced during the conference included: Yunnan Gold Group signed a cooperation framework agreement with China Land Overseas Group and the Ministry of Mining and Petroleum of Mali; CITIC Heavy Industries reached a crushing project with iron ore mines in Outer Mongolia, with a contract value of more than 30 million; Jingjin Environmental Protection, Chifeng Haofeng and many other exhibitors reached an order of intent to promote the project involves gold, vanadium, crystalline graphite, rare metals, coal, tungsten and molybdenum and other mineral species.
