2017(19th) China Mining Conference and Exhibition
The 19th China Mining Conference and Exhibition in 2017 saw a gathering of over 11,000 government officials, mining professionals, experts, and scholars from 54 countries and regions in Tianjin, including more than 1,000 international delegates. Attendees comprised 12 mining ministers or vice ministers from 11 countries, 10 ambassadors to China, 9 directors or deputy directors of organizations, such as the Geological Survey, the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), the World Bank, and other international bodies, along with representatives from over 1,200 domestic and foreign mining enterprises, consulting firms, scientific research institutes, industry associations, and societies. The conference featured the following events: a theme Forum, International Mining Ministers’ Forum, Enterprise CEO Forum, the Belt and Road Mining Cooperation Forum, International Geological Survey Directors' Forum, 33 thematic sub-forums, 9 national (regional) project promotion seminars. These seminars focused on enhancing project promotion, cooperation, and coordination between countries and regions along the Belt and Road Initiative, as well as between China and African and South American nations. The conference was widely recognized for its comprehensive agenda and high level of participant engagement.
