More than 7,000 government officials, mining industry professionals, experts and scholars from 55 countries and regions attended the 2013 (15th) China Mining Conference and Exhibition. Among them, more than 1,300 foreign delegates, 12 ministers or vice ministers of mining and 14 ambassadors from 11 countries or regions, including Australia, Canada, Zimbabwe, Sudan, Peru, Serbia, Greenland, India, Namibia, Argentina, Bolivia, etc., attended the conference. More than 5,700 domestic representatives from 31 provinces and cities of China and the Armed Police Gold Headquarters participated in China Mining. China Mining held 3 theme forums, 34 sub-forums and 10 foreign project promotion meetings. The ministers and vice ministers of mining from 10 countries or regions delivered speeches at the International Mining Ministers’ Forum of the conference, introducing the overview of mineral resources of their respective countries and their intention of foreign cooperation, which were generally concerned by the participants.
